We design and set up decor for Nikkah ceremonies, Mehndi nights and Walima receptions anywhere in Ireland — in mosques, community centres, hotels, marquees and family homes.
Every family does this differently. Some want an elegant, understated Nikkah and a large Walima; others want the full run of events.

The Mehndi is where the colour comes out. Low floor seating with cushions and mattresses, bright overhead drapes, hanging umbrellas and lanterns, marigold and floral strings, and a decorated seat for the bride while the henna is applied.
For Pakistani and Bangladeshi families we'll also style Mayoun and Ubtan setups — yellow and orange throughout, decorated seating, floral work and floor covering. We usually build a separate photo backdrop for these nights too. The formal photographs come from the Nikkah, but the ones people actually share come from the Mehndi.
The Nikkah is the marriage itself, and the setup usually centres on one thing: a beautiful, well-lit space where the couple sit and where the ceremony is witnessed.
What we typically build:
Nikkah setups can be as pared-back or as elaborate as you want. A single well-designed floral backdrop with good lighting photographs beautifully and costs a fraction of a full room transformation.
The Walima is usually the largest event, and it's where the room needs to do the most work.
Walima guest numbers in Ireland are often large — several hundred is not unusual. We'll design around the layout your venue and caterer need, not against it.
If men and women are seated separately, that changes the room layout, the stage position and where the backdrops go. We'll design around a partition or a divided room so both sides get a properly finished space — not one styled side and one bare one.
If photography is restricted or if there are requirements around screens and sightlines, tell us early. It affects where the stage faces and how the entrance is arranged.
Many Irish hotels are used to accommodating this. If your venue is being difficult about it, it's worth telling us — we've dealt with venue coordinators on this before.
If a room or corner is being set aside for prayer, we'll factor it into the floor plan and keep it clear.
Some families want the couple's seating positioned or screened in a particular way. Say the word and we'll build it
If your dates are shaped around Ramadan or Eid, tell us when you enquire. Those windows book up, and setup schedules can be tighter.

If yours isn't listed, ask. The list reflects what we've been asked for, not the limit of what we'll do.
We set up in mosques and Islamic centres, community centres, hotels, banqueting halls, marquees and private homes, right across the country.
Mosques and Islamic centres generally have their own rules about what decoration is permitted and where. We won't tell you what yours will allow — we'll ask them with you, and work within it. Hotels and function rooms are where we can do the most, and where room draping makes the biggest difference. A plain beige function room and a fully draped one are unrecognisable from each other in photographs.

If your family is spread between Ireland, the UK, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Gulf or elsewhere, we're used to planning by video call and dealing with the venue directly.

Where the mosque or Islamic centre permits it, yes. Most have rules on what's allowed — we'll speak to them with you beforehand and work within whatever they say.
Yes, and it's very common in the weddings we do. We design both sides properly rather than treating one as the main room.
It depends on the events and the scale. A Nikkah backdrop is a different project to a Walima forfour hundred guests. Send us the details and we'll quote properly.
Yes — and it's easier if one supplier does all three. The setups get scheduled around each other, and the design carries through the week.
Not at all, and it doesn't change what we do. If your venue is being awkward about it, tell us.
Yes. Large Walima receptions are a normal part of what we do. Tell us the numbers and the venue and we'll plan the layout with your caterer.
As soon as your dates are set. Summer weekends and the periods around Eid book out first.
